The polo shirt was signed by Giovanni Di Gennaro, an Italian athlete specializing in canoe/kayak slalom, an Olympic discipline in which athletes navigate rapids through gates and currents.

Born in 1992, he is one of Italy's top K1 (single-seater kayak) athletes. His most notable achievement is the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, won in the slalom race, a historic achievement for Italy in this discipline.

He has also participated in other high-level international competitions, including World and European Championships, distinguishing himself with his technique and consistency. He is considered one of the key figures in Italian canoe slalom.
