Our New NFC Certificates
Customers who purchase an auction on Memorabid can request a Certificate for the memorabilia won during checkout.
Winners of "Memorabid Auctions" — those promoted and authenticated by our auction house and marked in gold — can request the COA, “Certificate Of Authenticity”.
This is an official document that guarantees the authenticity of the purchased item, ensuring it perfectly matches the auction description, as well as any images or other details provided.
Winners of "Marketplace Auctions" — those uploaded directly by collectors in the section marked in blue — can request the COO, “Certificate of Origin,” which certifies that the item was purchased at an auction on Memorabid.
These certificates come in both physical and digital formats and are linked to a serial code and two NFC tags:
- one applied on the paper version;
- one sticked inside the memorabilia.
Through them collector will be able to access the digital version of his innovative certificate, displaying all the product's images and description.
This ensures a perfect match between the item won and the paper version of the certificate, guaranteeing 100% authenticity.

Authenticate Your Memorabilia
Are you a collector but neither a buyer nor a seller on Memorabid, and you simply want to know if your memorabilia is authentic?
Submit your item for evaluation by our team of experts, send us photos, and receive our "Quick Opinion."
For just €10, you'll receive our PDF document via email, which will include a QR code linking to its digital version, where all the images and validated descriptions are displayed.

If your Quick Opinion is positive, you can then request our Certificate of Authenticity.
You can send your item for a 360-degree photoshoot and final validation through the COA. The €10 paid for the Quick Opinion will be deducted from the €50 cost of the COA, making the final balance €40.

If you want to skip the Quick Opinion process and directly request a Certificate of Authenticity for your item, no problem!
Fill out the request form, and upon positive feedback, you can proceed with the €50 payment and send the item to our offices to begin the certification process.
