National Football League

The National Football League, also identified by the acronym NFL, is the largest professional American football league in the world, composed of 32 franchises from 30 cities in the United States. In fact, the two largest US metropolises are home to two franchises: the Giants and Jets in New York, and the Rams and Chargers in Los Angeles.

The NFL championship, and its final in particular, represent one of the cultural icons of North America and especially of the United States, so much so that it has become one of the symbols of Americanness.
