Francesco Belli
Francesco Belli is an Italian footballer, defender of Padova.
He grew up in the DLF Firenze Calcio before moving to the youth sector of the Fiorentina.
In 2012 he was acquired by Pistoiese, with whom he played two seasons in Serie D, culminating with the promotion of the Tuscan club to Lega Pro at the end of the 2013/14 season.
It was later acquired by Virtus Entella. He made his debut with the Ligurian club on 4 November 2014, playing as a starter in the match won 2-1 against Ternana.
At the end of the 2018/19 season, after 5 years in which he put together a total of 161 appearances and 3 goals, He left Entella in contract expiration having reached an agreement with Pisa for a three-year contract, after which he moved to Bari, with whom he plays only one season.
On 2 August 2022 he signed a two-year contract with Padova leaving the capital of Puglia after winning Group C of Serie C and having collected 21 tokens with the jersey of the galletti.
He immediately became an important player for the white team, starting in the first round against Pro Vercelli.
He scored his first goal on 19 November, in a home draw against Albinoleffe.
