Marco Carnesecchi is a young Italian goalkeeper, born in Rimini on 1. July 2000. He grew up in the Cesena youth team, where he played from 14 to 17 years, when he moved to Atalanta, with which he plays for 2 years at youth level, winning the Spring Championship 2018-2019.
Atalanta loaned him to Trapani first, and then, in 2021, to Cremonese, the team he is currently playing with.
Carnsecchi also played for the Under-19 and Under-21 national teams, of which he became captain.
Roberto Mancini, head coach of the Italian National Team, called him for an internship in preparation for the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup qualifying.
Despite his young age, he already has over 100 appearances in his career.
