FederCUSI

The Italian Federation of University Sports (FederCUSI), formerly the Italian University Sports Center (CUSI), is a national sports federation recognized by CONI, which the Italian government has entrusted with the task of promoting, disseminating, and enhancing physical education and sports activities for Italian university students.

To this end, a University Sports Center (CUS) is established in every Italian university city. This center has managerial and administrative autonomy and is responsible for managing the university-owned sports facilities, organizing courses, championships, and various activities within them or at other facilities aimed at pursuing the institution's institutional goals. The CUS is accountable to a Sports Committee established at each university, which includes two student representatives, two representatives of FederCUSI, the university's Administrative Director, and the Rector, who chairs the body.
