Captain of the surprising Sassuolo, Gian Marco Ferrari has made over 150 appearances in Serie A with Crotone, Sampdoria and Sassuolo.

His performances in recent years have earned him a call-up by Roberto Mancini to the Italian national team, with which he scored on his debut.
