

Malik Thiaw
Malik Thiaw is a German professional footballer who was born in Dusseldorf in 2001.
He is a central defender, also able to play as a midfielder or right back.

He started playing football on TV Kalkum-Wittlaer and then moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf. He later played for Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia M'gladbach and Schalke 04.
In early 2020 he was promoted to the first team and made his professional debut on 7 March, in a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim.
On 29 August 2022 he was signed by Milan, signing a five-year contract. On 16 October he made his debut in the Rossoneri and Serie A in the victorious away match against Verona.
Because of its origins, it could choose to represent Germany, Finland or Senegal internationally.
He debuted with the German under-21 national team in 2021.
He was then called up to the senior national team for the 2024 European Football Championship qualifying, making his debut on 16 June 2023.
