

Boban Zvonimir
Zvonimir Boban is a Croatian former footballer and sports manager.
Nicknamed Zvone or Zorro, Boban grew up football in Dinamo Zagreb, for which he debuted at only sixteen years and who launches him at home and in Europe; after just three years he becomes captain and absolute leader, reaching 109 games and 45 goals in six years, as one of the most promising young people in Europe.
He joined the Italian league thanks to Milan, which in 1991 bought him for ten billion lire and sent him on loan to Bari to set him to the new reality: with the Apulian team he debuted on 17 November 1991 in the match Bari-Lazio (finished 1-2).
He returned to AC Milan in the 1992-1993 season and won the Champions League in 1994 and four league titles, the last of which in 1999; it is in the latter season that his contribution is more than ever decisive: It is in fact the three-quarter player who makes the difference in the middle of the field, with his fake and his vision of the game. He closes the Rossoneri experience after nine seasons with a total of 251 appearances and 30 goals.
