Nicolò Barella

Nicolò Barella is an Italian footballer, midfielder for Inter Milan, of which he is the vice-captain, and the Italian national team, with whom he became European champion in 2021.

Considered one of the best midfielders of his generation, he came through the youth ranks at Cagliari, making his professional debut with the club in 2015.

In 2019, he moved to Inter Milan, where he won an Italian league title (2020-2021), two Italian Cups (2021-2022 and 2022-2023), and two Italian Super Cups (2021 and 2022). He also reached the final of the UEFA Europa League (2019-2020) and the UEFA Champions League (2022-2023).

Barella was named among the 30 finalists for the Ballon d'Or in 2021 and 2023. Additionally, he was voted the best midfielder in Serie A for the seasons 2020-2021 and 2022-2023.
