AROP (Associazione Riminese Oncoematologia Pediatrica) è un’organizzazione di volontariato nata nel 2004, fondata da genitori e volontari per sostenere i bambini affetti da malattie oncoematologiche e le loro famiglie, in cura presso il reparto di Oncoematologia Pediatrica dell’Ospedale Infermi di Rimini, unico centro oncologico pediatrico accreditato in Romagna. Le attività dell’associazione includono l’accoglienza gratuita presso Casa AROP, situata vicino all’ospedale; il supporto psicologico alle famiglie attraverso progetti dedicati; l’acquisto di strumenti medici e materiali per il reparto; e lo svolgimento di attività ludico-educative per i bambini in cura.
