Genoa match shirt worn / issued by Gilardino, 2022/2023 season. The shirt was donated by Michele Corti to support the Stelle nello Sport campaign, in support of the Gigi Ghirotti foundation.
Alberto Gilardino is a football coach and former Italian footballer, as a striker, coach of Genoa. As a player he was world champion with the Italian national team in 2006. He occupies the tenth position in the ranking of the best scorers in Serie A, tied with Giuseppe Signori and Alessandro Del Piero.
Gilardino has signed the shirt on the back.
The Stelle nello Sport Association was established in 2019 to systemise all the activities and events promoted with the aim of enhancing all sports and spreading sports culture and values in Liguria. A project conceived and promoted by Michele Corti in 2000, which has grown year after year to the important goals and results achieved.
