Juventus match issued / worn shirt by one player in a Uefa Champions League match, 1995/96 season.
During that season and in the Champions League matches, several players wore the same shirt number at different times: among them were Luca Fusi, Gianluca Pessotto, Ciro Ferrara, and Massimo Carrera.
At the time, the rules regarding shirt number assignments were completely different from today: there were no fixed numbers associated with each player for the entire season. Starting players would wear numbers from 1 to 11, while substitutes on the bench typically wore numbers from 12 to 15.
This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
