Donate ten hours of individual psychotherapy as part of the C'è Da Fare Safe Teen projects to kids who develop psychological or psychiatric suffering, who suffer from their own thoughts, and who feel threatened by their own actions that they cannot control.
DF Safe Teen is in effect a high-intensity outpatient care that allows healthcare facilities to promptly address the growing demand for care from adolescents and families in serious psychological and psychiatric distress.
The intervention model was designed by the Specialist Service for Adolescents belonging to the Complex Structure of Childhood and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry of the ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda, which for many years has been treating on an outpatient basis children suffering from painful psychiatric problems, which have a strong impact on families and no less on the social context.
The conditions of intense distress that adolescents and parents find themselves facing, often alone, require an immediate response that can reach the patient at home and lead him to the Service.
We want to save them first of all from themselves, from their fears, that's why 'safe' teen.
CDF Safe Teen will therefore promote activities aimed at recovering and reactivating the resources of adolescents, will offer them the possibility of enjoying individual and/or family spaces, within which to tell and listen to suffering, learn to process and manage it.
