Brunello Montalcino DOCG Pianorosso - Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona

Quick bid

Description
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, produced only in the best years and exclusively with grapes produced in the Pianorosso vineyards, is the wine that has always represented the terroir and the name of the Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona company
Vinification, fermentation and refinement take place in stainless steel containers and glass-lined cement tanks at a controlled temperature using cooling jackets and immersion plates. Aging takes place in oak barrels for a prolonged period, followed by further refinement in the bottle
Brunello di Montalcino is a combination of intense and complex flavors. Sensations of ripe red berry fruit complement various spicy notes; the taste is warm, harmonious with pronounced tannins; a full-bodied wine with a long persistence of taste and smell that can evolve with long aging in the bottle.
Service: Uncork one hour before pouring and serve at 18°C in a "balloon" shaped crystal glass. The bottles should be stored in the dark, laid out in a cool place and without sudden changes in temperature.
Food pairing: This wine is ideal to accompany roast or stewed game and first courses with seasoning based on the same meats. Also excellent with mature cheeses.
