Daniele Cassioli is an Italian water skier and sports manager, blind since birth. He has won 28 world titles, 27 European titles and 45 Italian titles.
By virtue of the results obtained at international level, he is considered the greatest Paralympic water skier of all time.
He holds the world record in the jump specialty (21.10 meters), in figures (2,240 points) and in slalom (1 buoy with rope at 11.25 meters, at 58 km/h). He was elected World Athlete of the Year three times by the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, Paralympic category: 2008, 2010, 2014.
