Rimet Mexico World Cup 1970 commemorative trophy

Description
The Jules Rimet trophy celebrates Brazil's victory in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.
The trophy was given by the Brazilian federation to all the players of the national team.
The 1970 FIFA World Cup, also known as Mexico 1970, was the ninth edition of the top competition for the senior men's football teams of the sports federations affiliated with FIFA.
It was won by Brazil, who, beating the reigning European champion Italy in the final, won it definitively, having won it three times.
From the following edition (1974) the world championship took the name of FIFA World Cup.
Mexico 1970 was the first edition of the world championship to be broadcast on color television, thanks to the diffusion of satellite: fifty states were able to follow the event.
Furthermore, for the first time, the referee formalized the disciplinary sanctions against the players through cards: yellow for a warning and red for expulsion.
Finally, it was the first world tournament in which two substitutions were granted per match.
The trophy comes from the private collection of Jose Guilherme Baldocchi, former Brazilian defender who won the World Cup in Mexico in 1970.
In support of the authenticity of the memorabilia, there is a letter signed by the former footballer which attests to its origin and authenticity. In order to fully protect privacy and to prevent the document from being used with any memorabilia that does not refer to the same, it will be provided exclusively to the winner of the auction.
