Description

Title of the work:

"Sembra ieri"

Technical specifications:

  • Milan, 2017;
  • 67x50 cm - es. 6/10 + 2 p.d.a.;
  • Fine Art print on Ultrawhite Pearl paper 260 gr.

Additional information:

"Suspended between past and modernity "Seems Like Yesterday" is a declaration of love for Milan.

The historical and stylistic stratification of the city, its teeming, almost disjointed activity... I had long wanted to represent this urban soul that has always been plural.

Until one day, from a particular observation point in Piazza del Duomo, all the wings of the scene appeared in harmony before me, distracting me from the menu I was consuming.

A double frame overlooking two parallel vanishing points, the dazzling light to draw the silhouettes and all the tiles to the dialogue in pure vedutista style: it seemed to me the best way to celebrate Milan yesterday, today and tomorrow."
