The shirt is from the last season in which Marco Van Basten played football, before retiring at only 30 years old after numerous surgeries on his ankle joint. However, despite playing only 18 games, the 1992/93 season showcased the most complete version of Van Basten ever, as he managed to score 19 goals and provide 5 assists in just three and a half months of matches. To this day, Van Basten is considered one of the greatest footballers in history and remains in the hearts of fans.
