Giuseppe Biancofiore was born in Manfredonia, at the gates of Gargano. He graduated in History of Art at the University of Siena.
He began working in the field of cultural heritage as a photographer and archivist, first in Bari and then in Rome, where he spent three years at the Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione e il Restauro (formerly I.C.R.).
In parallel, he applied photography to other fields and continued the construction of a personal style and methods of visual storytelling.
His research focuses on the deep connection between urban spaces and those who inhabit them, through the study of geometry, composition and light.
Since 2014 he has been vice president of AFIP International, Association of Professional Photographers. He lives in Milan, where he works as a freelance photographer.
