Genoa match shirt worn / issued by Bani in a Serie A match, 2023/24 season.
Mattia Bani is an Italian footballer who has been playing as a defender for Genoa since 2020. It counts more than 300 presences among the professionals, of which more than 80 in Genoa.
Bani has signed the shirt on the back.
"Stelle nello sport" supports since 2000 the "Gigi Ghirotti", an institution that deals with social and health care of people with incurable diseases that require palliative care: at home and at two Hospice in Genoa. In 2022 Gigi Ghirotti formally became a Foundation in the Third Sector. More than half of the resources come from private donations and fundraising events. This "Auction" is historically promoted by Stelle nello Sport, the project conceived by Michele Corti (member of the Board of Directors of the Gigi Ghirotti Foundation) that promotes the values of sport in Liguria and promotes numerous events of social interest.
The Foundation chaired by Prof. Franco Henriquet, has been donated to date by "Stelle nello sport" over 470,000 euros. The Auction is dedicated to the memory of Gian Luigi Corti, historical journalist and sports director, founder alongside his son Michele di Stelle in Sport.
The brightest stars of world sport took to the field at our side: from Valentino Rossi to Federica Pellegrini, from Bebe Vio to Alex Zanardi.
