In the heart of the Castelli Romani, just 25 kilometers southeast of the center of the Capital, lies the Tenuta di Colonna, the original nucleus of the Pallavicini family's winemaking activity.
Today, it encompasses approximately 80 hectares, including 65 dedicated to vineyards (50 for white grapes and 15 for red grapes), and 4,000 ancient olive trees.
The set includes two bottles of Roma DOC Bianco and two bottles of Roma DOC Rosso.
Roma DOC Bianco is a 100% Malvasia Puntinata, the noblest white grape variety in Lazio. Elegant and fruity, with hints of elderflower, apricot, and white peach. It has a rounded, balanced, and captivating palate with rich fruity notes.
Roma DOC Rosso is produced with 50% Montepulciano, 30% Syrah, and 20% Cesanese, aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Intensely ruby red, it releases a bouquet of red fruits, vanilla, and spices. An elegant wine that fills the mouth with round and balanced tannins.
The lot was donated by the winery Prince Pallavicini.
