Argentina match shirt issued for Messi in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match, season 2024/25.

The only match in which Argentina actually wore this shirt design was against Peru on November 20, 2024. However, the jersey had also been prepared for other matches, but the Argentine Football Association later decided not to use this design in any further games.

As can be seen from the code shown in the gallery, this particular shirt was produced after the match against Peru, confirming that production continued even after that game, despite the shirt never being used on the pitch again.

This shirt was used only during this match, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the partnership between Adidas and the Argentine Football Federation in 1974.
