The Natsumi collection by Vito Nesta is part of his larger Grand Tour Collection, a design and ceramic project conceived by the Italian designer as an imaginary and sensorial journey through distant cultures and landscapes.
The name Natsumi means "summer" in Japanese, and the evocation of a season, a light, and a dreamlike Japanese landscape is the heart of this series. The pieces in the collection are conceived as small, useful canvases that tell stories, memories, and visions of distant places.
The vases are handcrafted in Italy from high-quality porcelain, which gives the piece an elegant sheen and refined texture.
Each vase is decorated and finished by hand, with attention to detail in the painted landscapes and nuanced chromatic nuances.
