Description

The painting depicts two men working in a field during the harvest. One operates machinery, while the other carefully oversees the process, creating an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support. Warm colors highlight the sunny day and the activity, while the background, with its fields and machinery, adds depth to the scene.


Irina Nikolaevna Vorobyeva, 1932 – 1993 Graphic artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR since 1979. Medal "For Labor Valor" in 1976 and Medal "For Distinguished Labor" in 1986. Born in Moscow. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1958. Lived and worked in Shchyolkovo, Moscow Region. Graduated with a silver medal from the Moscow Secondary Art School (1943–1950). Graduated with honors from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, where she worked in the easel graphics workshop of People's Artist of the USSR, Academician E.A. Kibrik from 1951–1957. Teachers: M.V. Matorin, M.A. Dobrov, P.I. Suvorov, B.A. Dekhterev, M.M. Cheremnykh. She illustrated books for the publishing houses "Children's Literature", "Young Guard", "Soviet Russia", "Malysh" from 1956 to 1966, a printmaker at Izogiz and the Moscow Combine of Graphic Arts of the Moscow Art Faculty of the RSFSR. The system of multi-layer printing from a single plate using the technique of color engraving on cardboard that she developed is unique. She participated in solo, all-Union, republican, international, and zonal exhibitions. Her works are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, in 90 museums and galleries of the former USSR, as well as abroad in Bulgaria, Germany, Egypt, Italy, Finland, and France. 


The winning bidder will receive a certificate attesting to the authenticity of the work along with the artwork itself. 


The shipping costs, at the expense of the user, will be definable ultimately only at auction concluded on the basis of his nationality because of the large size of the framework.
