For the first time in their history, Paris Saint-Germain triumphed in the UEFA Champions League. In Munich, the French champions defeated Inter Milan 5-0—the largest margin in a final of the competition—and completed the treble after already winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. It was a memorable night for Luis Enrique, who won the trophy with the Parisians after previously doing so as Barcelona coach. Goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu, along with a brace from a revved-up Désiré Doué, decided the match.
