The official Serie A award for the Best Striker of the 2020/21 season.

This is the original trophy that Cristiano Ronaldo was meant to receive personally, but which he ultimately never collected.

The award was scheduled to be presented on the pitch at the end of the final league match, as happened with all the other individual awards of the season.

On the final matchday of the 2020/21 Serie A season, Juventus played away against Bologna. On that occasion, Cristiano Ronaldo remained on the bench for the entire match and, presumably frustrated by the technical decision of Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo, walked straight back to the dressing room at the final whistle. As a result, he did not take part in the ceremony scheduled for the presentation of his award.

During the 2020/21 Serie A campaign, Cristiano Ronaldo finished as the league’s top scorer with an outstanding tally of 29 goals in 33 appearances, once again demonstrating his remarkable consistency and his ability to make the difference throughout the season.

The trophy stands 40 cm tall, and features the engraved inscription: “BEST STRIKER Cristiano Ronaldo."
