3-liter magnum Langhe Rosso Arte 2020 Arte was born from Domenico's desire to create a wine that embodies elegance, aging potential, richness on the palate, and fruity notes—a wine that speaks to the Langhe region. A work for artists, visionaries, and those who want everything done well—a Domenico Clerico thing, in short.

Thus, Arte, Langhe Rosso, was born in the 1981 harvest. A blend of several vineyards, it was one of the first wines to age in a new container in the Langhe region at the time: the barrique.

It immediately became one of the most well-known and sought-after wines in the Langhe region and an ambassador for our region: a distinctly Piedmontese red capable of speaking to wine lovers around the world, a Super Piedmontese.

Every year, Arte gives us the opportunity to play, to create, to experiment, to free ourselves from conventions and preconceptions, to create a great, new wine every year.

Art always reminds us where we come from: the Piedmont of the 1970s, still waiting to be discovered.

Nebbiolo, the grape variety at the heart of this blend, was still a wine for a select few, seeking its own space and new ways to make itself known.
