Description

Milan match worn shirt by Nesta for the FIFA Club World Cup final match against Boca Juniors played on 16/12/2007, 2007/08 season.

Yokohama, December 16, 2007. In front of over 68,000 spectators, Carlo Ancelotti's AC Milan conquered the world by defeating Boca Juniors 4-2 in the FIFA Club World Cup final. It was the 108th anniversary of the Rossoneri's founding, and on the pitch, Alessandro Nesta wrote one of the most memorable pages of his career.

At the start of the second half, with the score at 1-1, a Pirlo free kick found the winning deflection of the number 13: a crisp, precise right-footed strike that put Milan back in front and paved the way to triumph. That goal, a rare one for a defender, became a symbol of his class and leadership. Nesta celebrated by embracing Paolo Maldini under the Japanese sky, knowing he had etched his name in the club's history. Thanks in part to his goal, AC Milan won its fourth world title, becoming the most successful club in the world.

The match ended with Milan winning by 2-4.

The shirt comes from the private collection of a former AC Milan director.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops.
