Lukasz Skorupski

Lukasz Skorupski, born in Zabrze on 5 May 1991, is a Polish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bologna and the Polish national team.

Skorupski began his career in the youth ranks of Pogon Zabrze and later in Gornik Zabrze.

He was promoted to the first team of Gornik Zabrze before the start of the 2008/09 season. 

In 2013 he was bought by Roma, in which he played two seasons, before being loaned to Empoli.

From 2018 he moved from Roma to Bologna, with which he has already played more than 150 games.

Skorupski has defended the Poland U-21 poles on five occasions, all during the qualifying for the European Championship in 2013.

On 14 December 2012, he made his first appearance in the senior national team, starting 4-1 against Macedonia.

In October 2022, he was included in the Polish squad participating in the World Cup in Qatar.
