Circolo Canottieri Aniene

The Circolo Canottieri Aniene is a multi-sport club in Rome. Founded in 1892 by Alessandro Morani and the Fasoli brothers, it became a reference point for national rowing between the two wars, providing the Italian expedition for the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles with future medalists Antonio Ghiardello, Giliante D'Este, Francesco Cossu and Antonio Provenzani.

In the fifties the club began work for the current headquarters at the Acqua Acetosa, also giving impetus to other sports such as swimming, tennis, canoeing and football at 5.
