Marino Defendi

Marino Defendi is an Italian football player born in 1985. He grew up in the Atalanta youth Academy, the team in which he played from 2000 to 2008.

In 2005, when he was 19, he made his debut in the Serie A championship.

In his career he has played in several Serie A and Serie B teams, including Chievo, Lecce, Grosseto, Bari and Ternana, his current team since 2016, with which he played more than 180 games, scoring 11 goals.

Defendi played for Italy in the Under-20 and Under-21 national teams, with which he played the 2005 World Cup in the Netherlands and the 2006 European Championship in Portugal.
