Virtus Entella

Founded in 1914 as the Entella Foot-Ball Club, it’s among the top 100 teams in Italy for sport tradition.

It has partecipated 68 times to championships organized on a national basis and has reached as it’s height the second level of the Italian football championship: the first time in 1922 and again in 2014, when it reached Serie B alongsied celebrating it’s centennial anniversary.

The greatest successess won by the club are the two third level championship titles: in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione in 2013-2014 and in Serie C in 2018-2019.

The team had previously achieved victory in the Serie D championships of 1959-1960 and 1963-1964, and in the Campionato Interregionale 1957-1958 and 1984-1985.

The Black Devils, as they are nicknamed, play their home games at the municipal stadium, which has hosted them since 1935.
