US Alessandria Calcio 1912

Re-founded in 2003 the Alessandria has a tradition that goes back to 1912, which in turn descends from the already extant football division of the Forza e Coraggio club.

The team has played in 13 Serie A championships between 1929 and 1960 and 21 in Serie B, the last being in 1975 before its promotion in 2020-21.

It has reached the finals of the Italian Cup in 1936 among it's laurels can count two Italian Cups in Serie C won 1973 and 2018, and a CONI Cup, won in 1927.

Among the most famous players to have worn the team colors of the Alessandria are 1969 Ballon d'Or winner Gianni Rivera and world champions Luigi Bertolini, Felice Borei, Giovanni Ferrari and Pietro Rava, alongside Carlo Carcano and Adolfo Baloncieri.
