Bruno Cerella and Tommaso Marino

Bruno Cerella and Tommaso Marino are the two basketball players founders of Slums Dunk, the non-profit association founded in 2011 that uses basketball as a means to improve the living conditions of children and young people who live in contexts still afflicted by severe degradation.

In the project conceived by the two friends, basketball is not just a sport but an educational tool for socialization and emancipation capable of restoring hope to the different realities that are still in situations of extreme difficulty.

Slums Dunk programs today involve thousands of children and young people both locally and internationally, and the association will soon be present also in Cambodia to make sport more and more accessible to those people who do not have the possibility; because sport is a common language, it is a tool that unites, that knows no limits.
