Samir Handanovic
Samir Handanovic is a Slovenian goalkeeper and Inter captain. He has been playing in Italy since 2004, the year he joined Udinese.
He played more than 600 appearances in the Italian league, and he has saved 42 penalties in his career.
Handanovic holds three records in Serie A; is the goalkeeper with the most penalties saved (26), the goalkeeper with the most penalties saved in a single season (6) in 2010/11, and the goalkeeper with the most appearances for Inter , the team with which he won the Scudetto and the Italian Super Cup in the 2020/2021 season.
He was Slovenia's goalkeeper from 2004 to 2016, when he announced his retirement from the national team.
