Description
Red wine, 2020.
76 hectares full of history and character in Pauillac, in the heart of the Medoc, for Château Duhart-Milon with its wines in which strength, elegance and mystery blend with extraordinary gentleness.
It founded its history at the beginning of 1800 and was classified in 1855 as Quatrièmes Crus Classés confirming that, since then, its great quality was recognized. It is now owned by the Rothschild family and adjacent to the great reference of the area, Château Lafite Rothschild.
Since then, the Rothschild family has invested heavily both financially and technically in Ch. Duhart.Milon and the results are now there for all to see.
Even the winemaking and vineyard team, given the proximity, is shared with Ch. Lafite Rothschild.
The results of this special story, which started a long time ago but has never stopped growing, are evident today.
Baron Eric de Rothschild, after the acquisition in 1963, declared "It would have been foolish not to acquire a neighbor with vineyards of such quality" perhaps these words are enough to define its greatness and potential.
This lot was donated by NEXI Group.
