“Lo sport ha il potere di cambiare il mondo, ha il potere di ispirare le persone. Ha il potere di unire come poche altre cose possono fare. Parla ai giovani in una lingua che possono comprendere. È più potente dei governi nel rompere le barriere razziali. Lo sport può creare speranza dove prima c’era solo disperazione.”

Queste parole, pronunciate da Nelson Mandela nel 2000 ai primi Laureus Awards, hanno ispirato la nascita del movimento “Laureus Sport for Good”, una realtà che supporta oltre 200 progetti in 40 paesi dal Nord al Sud del mondo.

Dal 2005, Fondazione Laureus Sport for Good ETS, è attiva in tutta Italia con l’obiettivo di utilizzare il potere dello sport al fine di contrastare le disuguaglianze e ogni forma di discriminazione.

Fondazione Laureus crede nello sport come strumento di cambiamento positivo per i bambini che vivono in condizioni di forte deprivazione economica e sociale e, attraverso un modello di intervento unico, offre loro opportunità di crescita e sviluppo.

Per Laureus lo sport non è solo un gioco. Lo sport è terapia.

"Memorabid Auctions" - identified by a gold graphic design, are promoted and authenticated by the platform, which guarantees every aspect of the item as described in the accompanying text, including authenticity of the athlete’s signature as well as offering certification that the item was really worn in the indicated match.

All the items presented in this section are stored in the Memorabid warehouse, are photographed by the in-house team and are displayed using “360 photo” technology.

When a customer wins a “Memorabid Auction” will have the chance to purchase a COA “Certificate Of Authenticity” (an official document with an NFC Chip related to one sticked on his memorabilia, to certify the authenticity of the purchased item) at a cost of 25 euros at check out.
