Italy match shirt issued/worn by Tacconi for a friendly played between 1989 and 1991.
Tacconi has signed the shirt on the front.
Tacconi appeared in three matches against Argentina, the Netherlands, and Belgium. In all of these friendlies, Tacconi played only 45 minutes, keeping a clean sheet in each match.
The Italy-Argentina friendly played on December 21, 1989, ended 0-0.
The Italy-Netherlands friendly played on September 26, 1990, ended with Italy triumphing 1-0.
The last friendly between Italy and Belgium, played on February 13, 1991, ended in a 0-0 draw.
The shirt belongs to the private collection of the Schillaci family.
The shirt shows signs of wear, possibly related to gaming actions, however, no photographic evidence of the same has been found and therefore it is not possible to guarantee beyond reasonable doubt that the shirt was actually worn in match (and not getting dirty in other ways over time).
