Cadastral map of the San Siro stadium with reference to the year 1981.
Inaugurated in 1926 as a ground owned by AC Milan, in 1935 it was acquired by the municipality of Milan and enlarged by the latter between 1937 and 1939. After the war, in the 1950s, a continuous raised tier, the second ring, was built, thanks to which it reached a capacity of almost one hundred thousand spectators, followed by the lighting system. Between 1987 and 1990 it underwent its most recent renovation, following which it was equipped with an additional tier, known as the third tier.
The map illustrates the addition of the third ring to the stadium by Ing. Salvi on a scale of 1:500 and is dated March 1981.
