Custom made shin pad for Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is an unpublished shin pad portraying Ronaldo with the jersey of Real Madrid celebrating after scoring a goal. Led lights were applied instead of his eyes. Ronaldo wanted to show this shin pad to the opposing fans to reply to the lasers that at that time were often pointed at him from the stands. However, this shin pad was never worn by Ronaldo.
This memorabilia comes from the private collection of Enrico Campari, founder of the company Campari Protection, which has collaborated with many of the most famous footballers in circulation to create anatomical shin guards for professionals. The winner of the auction will be able, if interested, to request a certificate directly from Campari himself attesting to the provenance of the memorabilia.
