Dictador 2 Masters Carlos I Colombian Aged Rum 1980 is the result of a collaboration between the Osborne Group and the latest release of ultra-premium limited edition rum, created by Dictador Master Blender Hernan Parra and former sherry and brandy blender Ignacio Lozano. This vintage is matured in Carlos I Brandy de Jerez casks, which have an average age of 50-60 years. The finest Oloroso and Amontillado sherries have already been stored in these special casks for over 20 years. The result is a Cuban rum over 40 years old with excellent Mediterranean and hazelnut aromas.
Colour: Amber.
Nose: Intense notes of dark chocolate accompanied by black cherries, tea aromas, figs soaked in honey.
Palate: Fruity with juicy apples, ripe cherries, apricots, notes of ginger, milk chocolate, almond leaves, powdered sugar.
Finish: Long lasting, notes of ginger, aromas of cedar wood, candied orange peel, dark chocolate.
