The suit is customized for the American rider. On the back hump, the inscription "Kentucky Kid" is present, the nickname of the former Ducati rider, along with his racing number, 69.
In the 2009 season, Hayden raced aboard the official Ducati Marlboro Team's Desmosedici GP9, alongside Australian rider Casey Stoner. 2009 was the first of his five years with Ducati, finishing 13th in the final standings and securing a podium during the season.
Hayden was an American motorcycle racer and the 2006 MotoGP World Champion with Honda. He competed in 218 MotoGP races, achieving 3 victories and 28 podium finishes.
