Description

David Bowie – Space Oddity (1969).

"Space Oddity" is the second studio album by the legendary David Bowie, originally released in 1969. The album marks a turning point in the artist's career, with a more mature sound and greater musical experimentation. The album takes its name from the song of the same name, inspired by the Apollo 11 moon landing and the science fiction of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Front Cover: The cover image features a close-up of David Bowie's face, with his trademark messy red hair. The album title, Space Oddity, appears in the top right corner in a futuristic pink and white font.

Back Cover: An iconic photograph of Bowie sitting in a chair against a pink background, dressed in a sparkly jacket and red boots. The track titles and some liner notes about the album are also shown here.

Vinyl Label: The label is black with the RCA Records logo and track details etched in white.

"Space Oddity" is an essential album for anyone who wants to explore Bowie's musical universe. Although the album initially had a lukewarm reception, over time it has been re-evaluated as a masterpiece that marked the beginning of the artist's musical epic.
