"The John Lennon Collection" is the first official posthumous collection of John Lennon, released in 1982, two years after his tragic death. This album represents a journey through the most iconic moments of his solo career, collecting unforgettable songs that have marked the history of music.
The album includes immortal hits such as "Imagine", "Jealous Guy", "Stand By Me", "Woman" and "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)", retracing Lennon's artistic journey from his exit from the Beatles to his last works with Yoko Ono.
The cover shows an intense portrait of John Lennon, with a close-up that captures his deep and thoughtful gaze. The design is minimal, with the album title in black and white positioned at the top right.
