Description

Bid on Michel Platini's first contract with Juventus, signed by the former French footballer and former president Giampiero Boniperti in 1982.

This historical document seals one of the most iconic events in the history of football: the birth of the never-ending bond between Platini and the black and white colors of Juventus, which led them to conquer every Italian and European trophy.

The contract was signed on August 16, 1982 in Turin.

The parts of the contract that have been censored, as shown in the photos in the gallery, are those relating to the economic and contractual conditions.

The winner of the auction, of course, will receive the complete original in all its parts.

Arriving at Juventus from Saint-Etienne, Michel Platini not only won the hearts of Juventus fans and beyond: soon his plays, goals and celebrations became symbolic for every football fan.

Raised in the youth academy of Joeuf, his hometown, he began his professional career with Nancy, with whom he won the 1978 French Cup as captain, scoring the decisive goal in the final. His last French team was Saint-Etienne, with whom he won a French championship in 1981.

The arrival in Turin took place in 1982 after the president Gianni Agnelli, delighted by the French star's game at the 82nd World Cup, decided to get in contact with him.

Platini immediately gained his trust, winning the title of top scorer in the Italian championship in the 1982/83 season, his first in black and white, as well as in the following two years.

Trophy after trophy he soon became a symbol of Juventus and world football, his technical skills as a champion earned him the nickname of 'Le Roi'.

Juventus with 'Le Roi' won 2 Scudetti and the Italian Cup in Italy, but the most important victories came between 1984 and 1985 with the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Champions Cup and finally the Intercontinental Cup.

Crystal clear talent, refined foot and number 10 on his shoulders: Platini counts in his personal palmares 3 Ballon d'Or, as well as several titles of best player in the competitions in which he took part; one of these was the 1984 European Championship where he became champion, best player and top scorer.

"Platini, we took him for a loaf of bread and he put foie gras on it" Gianni Agnelli

On the pitch he was magical and magnificent” Diego Armando Maradona
