The final played on 11 July 1982 in Madrid at the Bernabeu stadium, saw the Azzurri win against West Germany 3-1. Bringing to 3 the World Cup won in the history of the Italian national football team.
On the front of the medal is the inscription "FIFA World Cup Spain 1982", "Italy world champion".
