Description

Barcelona match shirt worn by Cruijff in a Liga match, 1997/98 season.

This shirt comes from the private collection of Edvaldo Malizia, son of Vava' (Edvaldo Izidio Neto), Brazilian footballer and coach, World champion with the Brazilian national team in 1958 and 1962.

Johan Cruijff was a Dutch footballer, football coach and sports executive, who played either striker or midfielder.

Considered one of the best players in the history of football, he was the most emblematic interpreter of the total football with which Ajax and Netherlands revolutionized the history of football between the second half of the 60s and the first half of the 70s. Cruijff won nine Dutch championships, six Dutch Cups, one Spanish league, one Spanish Cup, three European Cup Winners, one UEFA Super Cup and one Intercontinental Cup. With the Dutch national team he was finalist in the 1974 World Championship and third in the 1976 European Championship. He scored 402 goals in 716 official games.

During his career he received various nicknames, including "Profeta del gol", which inspired the title of the documentary film about Cruijff’s sporting life directed by Sandro Ciotti; the journalist Gianni Brera renamed him the Pelé bianco.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops.

"Marketplace Auctions" - identified by a blue graphic design, are uploaded directly by collectors who choose to sell an item using Memorabid.

The platform does not guarantee the veracity of the description and nor does it guarantee the authenticity of the item’s characteristics; this is a “marketplace” section that gives the collector/seller a space or shop window in which to sell their item by putting it up for auction online and it works exactly like the leading digital auction platforms that offer any user the chance to sell their goods.

The Memorabid team examines and pre-approves every candidate seller, exactly as every auction that is uploaded, refuse to publish those that fail to meet standards of form or ones that may need editing (if the photograph or description is missing and/or unsatisfactory, for example).

When a user is interested in an item can contact the seller directly via the site’s built-in messaging function to receive clarification or further information regarding the lot in question.

When a customer wins a Marketplace auction they will have the chance to purchase a COO “Certificate Of Origin" (at a cost of 19 euros), a document with an NFC Chip related to one sticked on his memorabilia, to certify that the item was purchased on Memorabid.com
